The red ribbon
A doc was preparing to leave the hospital after an emergency op past midnight. As he reached the lift he saw a nurse so they took the lift down together. However the lift did not stop upon reaching the first level and continued to travel down to the 3rd basement. The lift door opened, showing a little girl standing there saying that she wants to take the lift. The doc hurriedly pressed the button so that the lift doors would close. The nurse was puzzled. She asked him why he didn't let the girl in. The doc said, 'B3 is the morgue and we label the deceased with a red ribbon on their right wrist. That girl had one on her right wrist.' Upon hearing this, the nurse slowly holds up her right hand.
'Do you mean.... this?'
