Ahemm… This story is I get it from my aunty when v going on a trip between my family n my auntie’s and uncle’s family. For me it is a quite scary story that happens around me. So here it goes…
That day when we are going back from our trip to KL, we decide to stay overnight at Ipoh that my aunty friend say is nice to stay. So, we all decide to stay there. When we reach at the chalet, all we are the chalet is cover with fences made from bamboo. As u all know, bamboo is where the spirit live. So, we all say, “What?? Are we going to stay here?” That is what my grandmother says. We all in the car whisper, “Y that guy (my aunty friend) brings us here to stay a night”.
Finally, they have settled the room for us. Then we all get our key and get into our room to put our baggage. When we get into to room, there were 2 queen size bed and a balcony with the view of the lake. The lake is very big and has many lotuses. It makes it a nice view for that time being. My aunty room is so nice that there were a door that combines the room. So, these 2 rooms is link to each other. When the nights come, we all gather in our aunty room to think where we are going to eat our dinner. While we are thinking, the rain starts to pour. So, my dad goes into the car and gets the umbrella for us to get into the car and go to eat.
Once we finish eat, all of us get back to the chalet and chat while the children play around. After a long day of driving, my dad says, “Let’s go back to our chalet and sleep”. Then my family goes back to our chalet to get some sleep. When I was sleeping with much comfort, my cousin sister is having problem in their room.
At my aunty room, when all have gone back to get some sleep in their own chalet, my aunty also decided to sleep. When all the light when out and all lying on their bed. My cousin sister started to cry. No one knows y she cry. My aunty starts to comfort her to sleep but she just cant stop crying and crying. So my aunty suspects something is wrong in the room, so she quickly call my other aunty that knows about these things to help my cousin sister to stop crying. Finally, my cousin sister stops crying. Then everyone think it had when back to normal. Not just for a few minutes they when back to bed, my cousin sister start crying once again. It continues until the clock reach 5am in the morning. Finally they all can have a good sleep or we can call a scary sleep.
This is not all. In my cousin brother room, when they were fast asleep not so long after they sleep. They could hear someone is playing ping pong in their room. The sound is like “Ping Pong, Ping Pong” non stop till the time reach as mention, 5am in the morning. Other than these sound, they also heard many foot steps around the room like someone is walking around and playing around. It’s kind of scary when I heard it. Lucky it did not happen to me.
After what happen, I think back, “Why it only happens in my aunty room”. I think it is all because of the umbrella that we used. At the chalet there was a place that we can put the umbrella, we just put it there n did not lock it properly. What I mean is that every umbrella has the strap that can close the umbrella properly. I think is because of that the spirit has been brought into the room by the umbrella. So everyone, don’t ever open the umbrella inside your house to prevent any unwanted guest into your house. After that thing happen, when I look at the view of the lake of the chalet. It gave me a chill what if something is inside, what happen if I drop in, what will happen. Is just scary to thinking it back now.
P.S. Bamboo is a spirit collector too. I hear it from my grandma. Haha~~ Hope u all enjoy the story. ^^v
